First Post EVER!--(wait did I do this right??)

I've seen what creative blogging can look like and I hate to say it, but I don't think mine will ever par up to those I have checked out. I have never considered myself a writer, let alone a blogger so we'll see how this journey pans out for me here.
I suppose the main reason for my wanting to blog is so that my friends and family can keep up with me, us, my family. I look back to breaks from College when I was 18, 19, 20, ect...I (and we-my friends) made time for a million phone calls a day with random updates. Mine were obsessive, I know this. Whenever something happened to me, (I mean ANYTHING) I had to pick up my phone and call someone to let them know. Yes this IS something as little as I might have just stubbed my toe and it really hurt, lame I know.
Where has the time gone? There are some friends I still talk to weekly, but those that I don't it doesn't mean I love them any less, and I know they feel the same way as me. We have simply grown up into Adults (or so I like to think). And we all have our busy lives, some of us parents, some of us planning weddings, some of us just simply too busy being busy. Whatever the reasons we all love each other, we all think of each other, we all follow obsessively on facebook--which actually reminds me! Is it WRONG that we make time (sometimes 20 times a day) for facebook but not to actually call one another? No I suppose not. We may have a moment or 20 a day where it is simply only a moment. We go onto facebook thinking of one another and maybe just look at each others photos, missing each other but somehow thinking we know whats going on just by status updates.
Well here is how busy my life has gotten, like anyone DOESN"T know, (and if you don't than we are obviously not friends)...I am a mother. A busy one at that. My last year of life has been spent trying to finish college....yes all 6 years of it! And guess what, for those who may not know, I FINALLY FINISHED! Thank the lord! Besides school, I have been busy working at Indira Salon & Spa still, and hellllllo? BEING A MOM :) Oh...and being a girlfriend too. (That actually is HARD work trying to fit being a girlfriend into that mess of things too!) haha!
Olivia has consumed my life, and I love every second of it. She is my world. I know I know you ALL KNOW THIS :) You see the 100's of pictures I post on facebook almost daily. So I am a little obsessed with taking photos and sharing them with everyone of my daughter, is that really such a horrible crime? :) She is just so CUTE I can't help it! If you don't agree, we are done being friends, simply put.
We just finished throwing Olivia's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY! I can't even hardly believe that it has been a year of parenthood bliss, but it has. It really just goes to show how the saying is true, Time Flys...I have tried to soak in every second of it, however I find myself looking at old photos wishing Olivia was 6 lbs again. Or even older, wishing I was 6lbs again! HA! All the ups and downs, and really low downs throughout my life....has brought me to a point where I would never want it any differently!
I just started In-Home Daycare :) I think it may be helping me rethink my NEED to have a baby soon. I might be very content right now with just Olivia...maybe another year! Other than that though I love, love, LOVE that I get to be home with her every single day! Missing her grow up and learn things would just crush me. Plus I love kids so much so it really is just so much fun getting to play with them all day and watch them learn too! Olivia is doing AMAZING thus far with it. She has not shown any signs of being jealous or anything, its in fact just the opposite! She wants NOTHING to do with me :( There is so much going on she just runs around playing with the other kids. She has gotten so smart :) She was just learning to walk, and now with all these walking toddlers/kids she is walking EVERYWHERE! Which is perfectly fine with me! That is why they made baby gates and locks right? So far no major falls or accidents...crossing my fingers, yet still knowing it will happen sooner or later!
How are you supposed to end these? I guess fron here on out, this blogging will be another learning game...hope you enjoy staying connected with me!
